My two are 11 and 9...going on 21. Does that count??

Neither of my kids are into the Dead, athough they are developing a diverse interest in music. My 9YO is into the current bubble gum stuff, i.e. Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers etc. But she is also developing an interest in The Jackson 5 and other Motown stuff!!!! My 11Yo , who has been to see Crosby / Nash with me, is into everything from CSNY to Meatloaf to Toby Keith to Cat Stevens to Queen...etc,etc.

I am currently blessed, and hopefully continue to be, that they haven't shown any inclination toward any of the rap or hip-hop crap that is all the rage with kids today!!

When my 9 year old daughter saw me looking at the forum this morning, she said " You said you were'nt going on there again." Indeed I sometimes say that but here I am again. She likes the Dead but being a computer freak, knows a lot of kid music she hears on youtube. However she does love running round the kitchen listening to Orbital and is familiar with the lyrics to Pyjama People.

Ha! My sentiments the other day (well, only for a moment)...but now my kids know my "handle" and get a big kick out of calling me "william tell" now and again. I suppose they are surprised that I actually use the internet to do something besides pay bills...
